Keepmoat Homes Starts Work £22m Castleford Development

Work has started on a new £22 million residential scheme in West Yorkshire.

Keepmoat Homes is building the first phase of 560 new homes as part of the Flass Lane development in Castleford.

Ground work on the scheme is officially underway and phase one is scheduled for completion in December 2020.

A total of 157 new properties will be built during the first phase, comprising a variety of two, three and four bedroom apartments and houses. In addition, 32 'affordable' homes will be built for the Leeds Federated Housing Association.

Chris Davidson, Associate Director of Major Projects at Harworth Group, said: "We're delighted that our second major residential development in West Yorkshire is now underway. We've been impressed by what Keepmoat have planned for the site and I'm looking forward to the first residents moving onto site shortly."
