Plans Approved For Phase Two Of Bexhill Enterprise Park In Sussex

Construction News Image
Plans have been approved for the second phase of an enterprise park development in Sussex.

The second stage of the Bexhill Enterprise Park scheme involves building the High Weald House and the provisionally titled Building 3.

The two buildings, worth £9 million, will each deliver 25,600 sq ft of net office space, providing flexible working areas that can be adapted for individual businesses.

The plans, which were designed by AHR, meet the needs of modern working practices, inspiring collaborative working through the inclusion of a shared atrium with communal catering facilities and breakout space.

Construction is to start on High Weald House in September 2017, with completion set for September 2018.

Bill Storer, associate director at AHR, said: "The onward expansion of Bexhill Enterprise Park is great news for this part of the South East. It will provide enhanced opportunities for local start-up businesses to base themselves in cutting-edge sustainable premises, contributing to the development of the local economy.

"This project demonstrates our commitment to putting people at the heart of our designs. Our vision has been developed by prioritising well-being and creating inspiring spaces that will bring people together and encourage collaboration."
