Two new members have signed up to the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA).
Cumbrian-based water services and booster specialist, Flowtech Water Solutions, has joined the organisation, while Koller UK Ltd has also become the latest BPMA member.
Flowtech Water Solutions began life in 1996 supplying a large number of standard and bespoke products from their base in Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria.
In 2010 the company underwent a massive transformation with additions to the management structure and movement of their base to a purpose built unit in Flookburgh, Cumbria. Significant investment has followed, projecting the business forward and bringing it up-to-date with the latest industry requirements.
Flowtech Water Solutions now has a comprehensive portfolio of products that are supplied or manufactured to exactly meet the client's needs. Working nationally with Local Councils, Design Engineers, Mechanical Contractors, Developers and End Users Flowtech is now firmly established as a major force in the market.
The company's Managing Director, Andrew Leech, said: "We're delighted to be joining the BPMA, which we feel sure will help us in our continued efforts to deliver the best possible service to both our existing clients and of course to our expanding list of new customers.”
He added: "We're looking forward to the opportunity of showcasing our work amongst fellow industry professionals and to network and share ideas and best practice with our peers."
Elsewhere Koller UK, a member of the Koller Wordwide Industry Group, specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of whirlpool components and systems. Having been operating for more than three decades, its enviable market position has been achieved through its ongoing development of hydrodynamic technology and its ability to produce a complete range of products in-house.
Steve Schofield, Director and Chief Executive of the BPMA, said: "We are delighted to welcome these two companies into the BPMA, and afford them all of the support services at our disposal. Their varied product and service offerings dovetail nicely with that of other members, and we look forward to developing strong and mutually rewarding relationships with each of them."
