Workers Use Donseed's Biometric System To Keep Time On Site

Construction News Image
Workers delivering the West Hampstead Overground station development are using Donseed's biometric time and attendance system to sign in and out of site.

With nearly five million passengers using West Hampstead Overground last year, compared to 1.5 million in 2008/09, work is being carried out to expand the station.

Last year, foundations, ground and drainage works were carried. This year, the new footbridge should open by the end of 2017. In 2018, lifts will be installed (making the station fully accessible) and the planned opening of the new station building in August 2018.

The old station building will then be dismantled, with a new retail space built in its place.

Kev Dendy, Marketing and Strategy Director at Donseed, said: "Long term developments such as this one can make huge financial savings over the life time of a project by using Donseed's biometric time and attendance solution to accurately record hours worked on site and eliminate any wastage."
