TFC Win 'Start Up Of The Year' Business Award

Construction News Image
TFC Supplies Ltd are officially the proud owners of the Start Up of the Year Business Award, which they secured at the Inspiration In Business Awards Ceremony with Signal Radio in May 2018.

The Staffordshire-based Timber Manufacturer has gone from strength to strength this year, with many positive changes on the horizon for the business, including their latest award. They recently announced their move from being a Timber Merchants, to now manufacturing their own range of timber products at their Moorfields Industrial Estate site, which has introduced many exciting opportunities.

TFC have introduced the Stenner MHS 9 Horizontal Resaw, which means they can commence with manufacturing their own Feather Edge Boards (available as Untreated, Tanalith Green or Tanatone Brown), plus Closeboard Fence Panels in quantities of your choice. The business like to think of themselves as the top choice when you require a quick turnaround for your timber products.

Although TFC will be manufacturing their own timber products from their Moorfields Industrial Estate site in Cotes Heath, Staffordshire, they’ll still be operating as a Timber Merchants for both trade and public, as well as at their second site, which is based on Leek Road in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

They acquired their second site in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent back in November 2016, which was originally well known as Wain Brothers. However, since opening their doors on this site, the business has soared to new heights, which has welcomed new changes this month. The recent demolition of the Wains Cement Factory, which was previously utilised as a temporary Joinery Shed for TFC Supplies Ltd, is to make way for their new site development.

The building was originally used to make their Rock Faced Concrete Blocks and other products on-site. With the recent business growth, TFC pulled the building down to start development work at 774 Leek Road in Hanley, offering what they believe to be a positive change to the busy centre. The site remains open to both trade and public at normal opening hours.
