Engineering consultancy WSP has made two new senior appointments to bolster its transport and infrastructure team.
David Stephens joins the company as Head of Local Government, part of WSP's Transport & Infrastructure Strategic Business Unit, while Adrian Malone has been appointed as Head of Digital Project Delivery and BIM.
Having spent 29-years in the industry, Mr Stephens was previously the Development Director for the Europe State & Local Government business at CH2M, having worked on some of the UK's biggest projects.
Mr Malone also joins WSP after spending a decade with Atkins where he took on numerous roles including Group Head of Knowledge Management and Collaboration.
David Stephens, WSP Head of Local Government said: "After 14 great years with Halcrow and CH2M the next move was always going to be a big decision. Combined with the opportunity to develop a business focused on supporting our local government clients; it was WSP's forward-looking culture that got me really excited."
Adrian Malone, Head of Digital Project Delivery and BIM, said: "BIM and digital are all about the way we collaborate by using digital technology to create opportunity and to design a better future.
"WSP has a strong culture of collaboration and future ready thinking. Connecting these with BIM and digital creates a powerful platform to tackle the complex challenges facing our infrastructure clients."
Steve Smith, WSP UK Managing Director for Transport and Infrastructure said: "These two quality appointments are a testament to our commitment to supporting our local government clients and driving digital technology in our 2,500 person Transport and Infrastructure business. We look forward to the contributions they both will provide to our clients."
