Morgan Sindall Begins Sewer Connection Works On Liverpool Road

Morgan Sindall has started carrying out sewer connection works in Liverpool as part of the £1 billion Paddington Village development.

The scheme involves developing 1.8 million sq ft of science, technology, education and health space at the eastern gateway of the city centre's Knowledge Quarter, creating a destination of choice for primarily research, education, health and science-related business and institutions.

To carry out the sewer works, the Wavertree Road corridor (Irvine Street/Upper Mason Street) will be closed in both directions from 30 July until 09 September.

Cllr James Noakes said: "Paddington village is an important regeneration scheme that will bring a wealth of new industries and new jobs to the city.

"There will be disruption and delay caused by these roadworks, however they are absolutely essential to the development of the Knowledge Quarter and Liverpool as a city. You can use our new interactive map to check for other roadworks across Liverpool to help plan your journeys."
