GAP Hire Solutions has continued its investment in Trime's new generation lighting towers with a new delivery worth over £1 million.
GAP's Head of Procurement, Ken Stewart, said: "We're continuing our excellent working relationship with Trime by maintaining our high level of investment in their X-ECO Lighting Towers which deliver significant savings in fuel and harmful carbon emissions as well as providing multi-directional adjustable LED lighting."
The new investment was made following GAP's site trials with its major customers who were impressed with both the increased efficiency and significant cost savings achieved.
Mr Stewart added: "Another factor in our decision making was the selection of Kubota as their engine provider with whom we have a close affinity for excavator and engine supply in general.
"We have a fleet holding in excess of 2,000 lighting towers and this recent order ensures we have a wide range of products at our disposal for distribution to our valued customers."
With improved running times, reductions in CO2 emissions and lower fuel consumption, GAP's environmentally friendly lighting towers offer significant cost savings compared to standard models.
"Deliveries of new equipment have commenced in anticipation of what will be a very busy trading period for us. Trime's management and staff in the UK and Italy have been very supportive in meeting our demanding requirements and our relationship will inevitably go from strength to strength. We're proud to be associated with Trime who we consider to be the market leader in lighting towers," Mr Stewart added.
