Be Safe Northwest is now proud to announce that we are now providing the Electrical 18th Edition qualifications via an online platform.
The new 18th edition regulations come into effect in January 2019.
We appreciate that there is a huge cost overhead placed on businesses where technicians have to attend a two-three day course. Not only is there the cost of the course (which can be costly as it is spread over two-three days) but also the technician is not earning money for your business as they are on the course. In addition there could be travel and overnight stay costs associated with the training.
Where our solution differs, is in the fact that our course allows you as the business owner, to schedule study time in their normal work time table, schedule weekend study or overtime. The student also learns at their own pace and not force fed lots of information that a lot of us would struggle to absorb in a classroom environment.
We currently offer three options:
1. Exam only, for those who are very confident that they know the new regulations – £90+VAT
2. 7 Hour refresh – designed for those with the 17th edition 3rd amendment already and just need an update - £95+VAT (exam also required)
3. 35 Hour – Full course, designed for new candidates or those that want a full refresh with detail. - £200+VAT (exam also required).
All options are provided and certified by City and Guilds, and the examination will need to take place at our Training centre.
