Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has been recognised for its emphasis on family-friendly culture by WorkingMums.co.uk.

The firm will compete for three awards at the upcoming WorkingMums.co.uk event. They include Innovation in Flexible Working Award, Best for Dads Award and the Best for Returners Award.

The Top Employer Awards recognise employers large and small, as well as teams and individuals working within them, who have worked hard to change workplace culture and help employees combine successful careers with family life.

Over the last five years Morgan Sindall has continuously developed its diversity and inclusion strategy, introducing a bespoke Returnships programme, localised recruitment drives, and conducting a complete review of all policies.

Simon Smith, managing director for Infrastructure said: "We've had a great year of recognition for our family-friendly culture and are delighted to have been shortlisted by WorkingMums.co.uk. We are keen to welcome people from all walks of life into our business, and our family-friendly culture has helped with a significant change in our employee make-up. Over 20.5% of our employees are female, which is 6.5% more than the industry average and approximately 70% of our total employees benefit from some sort of flexible working arrangement."

WorkingMums.co.uk's Top Employer Awards will take place on Tuesday 05 November at the Soho Hotel in London.
