Balfour Beatty has been named Britain's Most Admired Company in the Heavy Construction sector of the longest running annual survey of corporate reputation in the UK.
Organised by leading reputation specialists and academic partners, the awards represent a peer-review of corporate reputation, considering views from board-level representatives, financial analysts and city commentators to identify Britain's largest public companies and leading employers across 25 sectors.
The awards see companies scored against 13 criteria including financial stability, community and environmental responsibility and long-term value potential.
Securing the highest marks in six out of 13 categories, Balfour Beatty was praised for its quality of management, inspirational leadership and its corporate governance as well as its commitment to diversity and inclusion and its global competitiveness.
In addition, the company was commended for attracting, training and retaining market-leading experts to offer customers the best capabilities whilst providing the quality leadership required to drive forward world class projects across its geographically diversified business.
