Morrison Telecom Services, Magdalene and Avonline Networks, the three businesses that make up the M Group Services Telecom Division, have been awarded the Silver Award under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) in recognition of their commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.
All three businesses signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant in April 2019 and achieved the Bronze Award shortly after. The Defence ERS encompasses awards for employers that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the Armed Forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
Chris Priest, Head of Human Resources for the M Group Services Telecom Division, commented: "Our Silver Award is the culmination of continued efforts across each business to support the Armed Forces community and I'm delighted that our companies have been recognised in this way. Individuals from this segment of society bring a vast array of skills, knowledge, experience and resilience so it is important that we continue to attract, engage and retain them within our organisations."
M Group Services' Telecom Division is comprised of three operating businesses; Morrison Telecom Services, a leading provider of infrastructure design, build and maintenance in the fixed telecom market; Magdalene, a leading UK telecom infrastructure services provider supporting public and private, fixed and mobile networks; and Avonline Networks, a specialist provider of telecom network build and installation services on behalf of network providers, alternative networks and local authorities.
