Construction News Image
Ardmore has been chosen to deliver residential fit-out works at The Whiteley, the large-scale redevelopment of the former Whiteleys shopping centre in London's Bayswater.

A joint-venture development by MARK and C C Land, with Finchatton acting as development manager, The Whiteley is set to complete in 2023.

Designed by Foster + Partners, the £111 million fit-out contract will see Ardmore deliver 139 world-class modern residences, providing over 300,000 sq ft of exceptional residential space.

In addition to the new residences, The Whiteley will deliver up to 20 new shops, cafes and restaurants, a central public courtyard, a cinema, a gym and London’s flagship Six Senses hotel and spa with 110 rooms, as well as a social wellness club, all set behind a retained and restored Grade II-listed façade.

Richard Shaw, Development Director at Finchatton, said: "We are delighted to have achieved this significant milestone for the project. The team has forged an extremely strong and collaborative relationship with Ardmore and we look forward to working together in delivering the stunning collection of residences at The Whiteley."

Construction has already commenced on the main works, with fit-out works scheduled to complete for 2023.
