MKM Building Supplies is to open its new Ashford branch on Monday 27th September.
The branch will be run by father and son duo John and Tom Rose.
MKM Ashford will be supporting local charity, Pilgrims Hospice and have set a goal to raise £2,000 for the organisation at the launch event.
John and Tom will be joined at MKM Ashford by a team of 15. Every member has been brought on board for their experience and reliability, and together they will be offering the people of Ashford a one-stop-shop alternative to the traditional builder’s merchant. With 300 years combined experience in the merchant sector, the branch intends to put customer service first and will go above and beyond to ensure that their customer service is second to none.
Mr Rose, Branch Director at MKM Ashford, said: "I was delighted when Tom suggested we go into business together, and run our own merchants. I have 40 years-experience in the construction industry, and I’m chomping at the bit to deliver the service I know the area deserves.
"This is a family run business, we value that, and we intend for the values that go with that to shine through in how we operate. MKM Ashford stands for outstanding customer service, and a personal touch. We want our customers to get to know us at the branch, and we want to get to know them, so that we can work to get them exactly what they need.
"MKM is a one-stop-shop, we stock all building products, including building materials, plumbing and heating, landscaping, electrical, drainage and civils, insulation and plaster board, workwear and timber, joinery and sheet materials. We don't just cater to trade, everyone is welcome and we are more than happy to show general public visitors around our kitchen and bathroom showrooms or provide everything they need for a DIY project or renovation."
