Mace has announced the appointment of two regional leads: Sarah Morton, Director for the North, and Lucy Namihas, Director for the South West.
The move demonstrates Mace's successful regional growth across the UK and supports the business to blend international delivery experience with local knowledge.
Both Sarah and Lucy will be responsible for leading Mace’s regional growth agenda in their respective regions, driving collaboration across Mace Consult's diverse industry sectors and services to progress Mace’s 2026 business strategy.
Sarah Morton joined Mace in February 2021 and leads the Managed Frameworks team for Mace Consult. She has grown Mace's relationship with SCAPE, the Southern Construction Framework and the North West Construction Hub, the Crown Commercial Service and other Consult frameworks, and will now bring the strength of her relationships in the North to more of our sectors and services.
Mace has a strong presence in the North of England and opened a new office on 42 Fountain Street in Manchester in 2021. The business has delivered some of Manchester's most iconic projects over the past two decades, including the current Our Town Hall project and restoration of the city following the bombing in 1996, and is supporting the city’s sustainable future through its work with Manchester City Council.
Lucy joined Mace in 2019 and has led teams across the South West and Wales, including the largest new build school in the UK for Cardiff council and the high-end fitout of BT’s new regional hub in Bristol.
The business has a firm position in the South West, delivering a variety of projects over the last ten years through offices in Bristol and Exeter. Mace has a longstanding strategic relationship with Cornwall County Council through its joint venture with Ward Williams Associates, and the team have recently been appointed by Devon County Council to design retrofit services for social housing across the county. In South Wales, Mace is also supporting Cardiff City Council with several works including cost consultancy for its 21st Century Schools programme.
