Pick Everard has been re-appointed to the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation's (ESPO) Property, Building and Infrastructure Advice & Management Services framework (2664).
ESPO has a well-established history of providing goods and services to the public sector. It is highly regarded in the educational sector and among local authorities. ESPO is entirely non-profit and 100 per cent public sector owned, meaning that the capital received after operating costs will be returned to the public purse.
The framework provides clients with access to a full multi-professional consultancy service to support their capital programme. With such a broad range of areas covered, clients will experience excellent flexibility within the framework, making it a convenient and cost-effective procurement solution.
Pick Everard has been appointed to this framework's various iterations for more than a decade and has delivered an array of key projects such as Synosby Farm for Leicestershire County Council, modular homes for Chelmsford City Council and the Avanti School of Performing Arts Centre in Harrow.
Ben Killeen, group strategic development director at Pick Everard said: "Following a decade of excellent work completed under this framework, this most recent appointment is further clarification that our framework strategy is being implemented to a high level.
"Appointments such as these solidify our position in the market and allow us to draw on our in-house expertise, time and time again. This is a key strategic framework within our portfolio, with many of our key clients utilising this particular framework. Our re-appointment will provide them with direct access to our specialist, multi-disciplinary services – and we very much look forward to continuing our support of public sector clients and delivering the high-quality services and schemes we are renowned for."
The framework will run for the next two years, with an option to extend by a further two years, with Pick Everard being appointed to three lots covering different regional areas:
• Lot 1A - London and the South East
• Lot 1B - Rest of England and Wales
• Lot 1C - Scotland
Alastair Hamilton, partner at Pick Everard, said: "We're extremely pleased to have been re-appointed to this framework, which is a truly national framework that covers the pan-public sector. It is an incredibly important one for Pick Everard and we are truly proud of the excellent work we have been able to deliver to public sector clients through the framework.
"At Pick Everard we have the capability and expertise to drive efficiencies on all projects we provide. This ultimately allows us to save costs for local authorities and other public sector bodies, while maintaining our high standard of delivery and compliance with best practice in procurement processes."
