Liverpool-based Bellway Homes North West has acquired over 24 acres of land in Merseyside for a new residential development. The site, which is located on Kenyons Lane in Lydiate, will be transformed into a stunning development comprising 291 new build homes.
The housebuilder will deliver a wide range of properties, including two and three bedroom semi detached homes, as well as three, four and five bedroom detached houses from its individually designed Artisan collection.
Carefully considered, all homes benefit from luxury design detailing and a superb internal and external specification to ensure they provide flexible living space for discerning purchasers and modern lifestyles.
Previously farmland, planning consent has been granted, with Bellway starting remediation work on site in Autumn.
A beautiful place to live, Lydiate village benefits from everyday amenities, several primary schools, as well as a pretty village green. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal runs through the village too. It is only 1.5 miles away from Maghull and just over 10 miles from Liverpool, offering a sought-after semi-rural setting yet close an award-winning, vibrant city centre.
Jenny Bell, Sales Director at Bellway, says: "This latest land acquisition in Merseyside is great news for the company. It is a superb location and we will be building a good selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, catering for all budgets."
In addition to the new residential development, Bellway has made several significant Section 106 contributions to the locality, including £471,852 to highways to be used to improve the Kenyons Lane and A59 junction, £166,452 to healthcare and £18,333 towards mitigating recreational pressure on the Sefton Coast. There will also be a 30% affordable housing provision.
With construction due to commence in the coming months, Bellway plans to release the first homes for sale in the winter and has scheduled 2023 for the opening of the show homes.
