Money from the Protos Community Fund have enabled the school to enhance their current outdoor facilities and allow the children to develop their physical and mental health, opportunities that were sorely missed during the COVID pandemic.

The improvements include new playground markings, creating vibrant and visually stimulating playground games such a checkers, snakes and ladders and hopscotch. Whilst colourful maps and bold phonics provide a perfect blend between education and play.
The new facilities will enable more children to enjoy the benefits of playground play and are already proving a hit with the pupils. Local groups that use the school playground, such as Helsby Brownies, will also benefit from the improved play area.
