Fire and Acoustic Seals (FAS), one of the UK's largest distributors of fire seals, has appointed Joshua Lockett as its Product Manager.
Joshua brings ten years of industry experience spent successfully sourcing and managing thousands of building products, from hand tools to building chemicals.
This newly created role will be integral in developing and launching new products to the market to meet the different needs of customers. This includes extending the current range of products supplied by leading brands such as Lorient and ERA, to developing the FAS own-label fire door range of seals and sealants.
Joshua will also become the technical point of contact for the business and provide toolbox talks and training to help customers to understand and use the products correctly.
Joshua said: "There are very few things as rewarding as starting with a blank slate and taking a product from concept to sourcing, right through to launch in the market. Building relationships with suppliers and customers alike is key to success.
"It's a really exciting time to join FAS as it looks to grow its portfolio and continue its investment in high-quality safety products for the construction industry.
"FAS has developed some fantastic products that are already performing well such as their innovative, own-label Fire Door FoamTM. My job is to bring through new products that will perform just as well and make Fire and Acoustic Seals the industry brand of choice for seals and sealants."
Julian Vollans, Managing Director commented: "Joshua is an important appointment for the development of our products and the wider business.
He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role which will help to improve the customer experience, increase our product offering on and offline, and drive sales growth.
"I would like to welcome him to the team and wish him every success in his new position with FAS."
