Plans submitted by Peel Waters for a 108,553 sq ft new logistics and industrial development in Salford have been given the go-ahead.
Located off Liverpool Road in Eccles, Salford; the approved scheme will completely transform and redevelop the current brownfield site, which has previously been used as a waste recycling facility, into a well-connected employment zone.
Peel Waters and their instructed team which includes AEW, Langton Development Services and WSP have designed the development to be split across eight units ranging from 4,338 sq ft to 39,460 sq ft, providing a range of industrial and logistics space to suit and a attract variety of businesses.
The approved 108,553 sq ft site has also been designed to a Grade A specification and will be aiming for a BREEAM Excellent rating.
The scheme named Halo West, has been designed to make full use of its strategic location next to J11 on the M60, allowing future users of the site access within minutes to the ring motorway, and from there the major aerial routes of the M62 and M6.
