NASC And CISRS Announce Recruitment Of New Head Of Training And Education

National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) and Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) have announced a pivotal step forward in their commitment to advancing the scaffolding and access sector.

Following an extensive review process, NASC and CISRS have commenced the recruitment process for a new Head of Training and Education.

The newly created role will be instrumental in shaping the talent and development strategy within the industry, focusing on enhancing academic qualifications and spearheading the digital transformation and expansion of CISRS. This appointment underscores NASC and CISRS’s dedication to maintaining and advancing standards within the scaffolding and access sector, ensuring that professionals are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for a rapidly evolving industry landscape.

The Head of Training and Education will be tasked with developing and implementing robust training and educational programs that meet the highest industry standards. This includes collaborating closely with educational institutions, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with evolving industry requirements and best practices leading to the establishment of high-quality academic courses.

Central to the role will be the advancement of CISRS, the leading scaffolding training scheme in the UK and beyond. The new appointee will lead efforts to digitise and expand CISRS's offerings, making training more accessible and responsive to the needs of a diverse workforce. By enhancing the scheme’s digital infrastructure and curriculum, NASC and CISRS aim to empower scaffold professionals with cutting-edge skills and certifications that are recognised globally.
