The programme offers trainees a degree apprenticeship in Construction Management once completed, while providing them with the opportunity to 'earn while they learn' and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
During the programme, trainees will have the chance to rotate through four core departments over 12-16 months, building hands-on skills and insight into the full scope of disciplines that contribute to Higgins' success.
After completing the programme, trainees are primed to step into a Trainee Site Management position and are well-prepared to contribute meaningfully to the future of the built environment.

Fully funded by Higgins Group, the programme enables participants to earn competitive salaries and benefit from annual performance-based raises, pension enrolment and a comprehensive mentoring system, all without the burden of student debt.
Each trainee is paired with a senior mentor who provides personal guidance on career development and academic support.
Kodi, who joined the programme in September 2024, shared his experience, stating: "After finishing sixth form, I took a gap year to explore my options and found the Higgins Management Trainee Programme.
"The supportive team here makes a difference and I feel my confidence and skills growing as I take on more responsibility.
"Starting university alongside my training is rewarding—I'm already applying theory to real-life situations. This route allows me to get paid while earning my degree and advancing in my career faster than the traditional university route."
Applicants are required to have at least three A-levels (or equivalent) at C or above to join the BSc course, along with strong communication skills, computer literacy in Word and Excel and a passion for learning.
