Businesses operating in the built environment sector are invited to attend a free seminar to find out more about the wealth of opportunities available overseas.
UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) - the UK Government body responsible for helping businesses to grow by trading internationally, working with the East Midlands Centre for Constructing the Built Environment, have brought together a range of leading experts to deliver an invaluable overview of the support and expertise available to help business leaders explore the numerous construction opportunities overseas.
Designed specifically for UK businesses operating in the built environment sector, the free seminar will take place on Thursday 20 March at Pride Park Stadium in Derby and offers delegates' access to specially commissioned market intelligence reports covering key construction markets across the globe.
Peter Hogarth, UK Trade & Investment’s International Trade Director in the East Midlands, said: “The construction industry holds some fantastic opportunities for businesses of all sizes to work abroad, but expanding overseas can be unnecessarily daunting if you have done it before.
“The seminar is designed to share some of the knowledge and experience of people who’ve ‘been there and done that’ so that up-and-coming businesses can take the next step towards trading overseas.”
The event, titled: ‘International opportunities for design in the built environment’, caters for any company with experience in delivering solutions linked to design in the built environment which is looking to grow and develop business opportunities overseas.
