Tag Guard Launch New Mobile 3G Camera System

Meeting the ever-increasing demand for temporary CCTV is the latest development from wireless specialists Tag Guard.

Their new Mobile 3G Camera System is compact and totally portable and operational from virtually anywhere within hours.

The high scrap value of raw materials like copper, lead and steel, together with the lucrative prices available for stolen plant and machinery, means that construction and engineering sites are now highly vulnerable to thieves, typically operating as part of organised crime gangs.

Another important factor driving demand for temporary solutions is the health and safety issues of unauthorised entry to building or construction sites by members of the public.

In the majority of cases where these crimes occur it is simply not practical or would be cost prohibitive to install conventional wired CCTV, which is why a mobile solution can offer a cost effective alternative. Tag Guard's new product incorporates a fully controllable PTZ camera, digital video recorder (DVR) with large capacity image storage and remote communication link using 3G. It will function in exactly the same way as conventional CCTV but without the need for any cabling. It can also be easily moved and repositioned on a site or redeployed at any new location.

Apart from the proven deterrent effect of CCTV, Tag Guard are also able to back the system up with their 24-hour central monitoring service that can alert on-site security, mobile patrols or the police to any incident.
