Bristol Hothouse is presented jointly by CABE, Bristol City Council, the Architecture Centre and RIBA. Forming part of the CABE-led 'sustainable cities' programme, the half-day of interactive workshops provides an opportunity for delegates to debate and share ideas to develop robust, design-led, city-wide resolutions and accelerate the pace of change.
The Hothouse fits into a wider programme of work for CABE which includes a Climate Change Festival. The event is also linked to the longstanding commitment by Bristol City Council to mitigate and adapt to climate change, including participation in the Low Carbon Cities Action Plan, and the Green Capital programme to make Bristol a low carbon city with a high quality of life.
