HSS, the national tool and equipment hire company, has given its nationwide fleet a fresh new look. The company's distinctive yellow and blue livery has been given an update which maintains the recognisable branding but with a more contemporary twist. HSS has also extended the fleet to provide a larger and more reliable service in order to better meet the demands of the company’s clients throughout the UK.
The enhanced fleet will include over 200 newly re-branded transit vans and five LGVs by Christmas with plans to update even more during 2009. The redesign was executed by HSS' marketing agency Gyro International while Rapido and Arnold Clark worked together to carry out the wrapping.
Chris Bagnall, B2B Marketing Manager for HSS, collaborated with Gyro on the new designs and said: "It was important for the new vehicles to feature the brand logos and strong calls to action, whilst also projecting the clean and professional image of the whole operation for which we have become known."
Lee Jackson, Fleet Manager for HSS, said: "The re-designed vehicles look great and project a strong brand image. The benefits are not purely cosmetic; the new fleet boasts an extended safety offering as well as green credentials.
"The vans now feature non-slip floors and detachable beacons for on-site safety along with an aluminium frame that makes the vehicle lighter, reducing fuel consumption as well as enabling a maximisation of payload to reduce the required number of trips to site. All LGVs now have safety lighting and on-board panoramic reversing cameras."
