The Queen Hotel, opposite Chester Railway Station, opened its luxury King Suites extension in October, as part of owner Paul Feather's £15m investment scheme which saw the conversion of a former bank building alongside the hotel on City Road.
The extension provides an additional 87 bedrooms, making the Queen the largest hotel in Chester city centre.

The new specially crafted gates and lighting on City Road have been designed to enhance the overall re- development which has included a significant investment in interpretative art.
Chester City Council for Development, Mr Stuart Parker said: "This is a magnificent development which has helped to breathe new life into this gateway to Chester. First impressions are important and visitors and business people arriving in Chester will note the pride we take in our city. Our ambition is to increase visitor stay time in Chester, and this superb development at the Queen Hotel, will certainly encourage visitors to stay longer."
Chester Renaissance, which aims to make the city a must-see European destination, is coordinating the efforts of private businesses and public sector led partnerships to work on complementary projects and developments that will improve the look, feel and prosperity of Chester.
