I would leave 1 star if I could. Purposely selected a date a week in advance despite them offering free delivery earlier to make sure my father in law had the day off to be home. Rang half way through the day to be advised delivery was on route. Get a call at 4:30pm to say it won’t be there today. I’ve had to finish early as my farther in law has already been waiting 8 hours for this delivery. We can’t make any other time I am honestly furious with this company and their lack of help.

Ordered a bulk bag of 40mm plum slate and while I understand there can be natural variations I certainly did NOT get what I ordered. When the bag was delivered I questioned the driver about the colour and size and even they said they were not sure it was the right product and that it happens alot. Now in dispute with them and the are argumentative and rude. I paid extra for plum but should have just ordered blue because the whole bag is a mix of blue and green and the size is no where near the size stated or shown on their website. Will never buy from this company again and will now be getting trading standards involved. Avoid this company!

Avoid like the plague!

As per many people who have ordered from this company, they have refused delivery to me due to the haulier company (that they outsource to) refusing to attempt delivery.

I was told that they would re-deliver the following day on a different vehicle. I waited in all day for delivery, then eventually phoned Gravelmasters to chase only to be told they now cant deliver as the haulier they use does not have an appropriate vehicle.

I was told on the phone that the different depots around the country they outsource delivery to have different capabilities and vehicles, but the one near me does not have a vehicle capable of delivery.

How is the customer supposed to know which vehicles are available at whichever haulier Gravelmasters use locally to them and which vehicles will gain access to more tricky delivery locations? everything is put on the customer.

Its pretty clear that delivering in the way they do on pallets, without a grab is causing issues for a lot of customers.

They are now charging me £80 to return the product.

Dont waste your time - use your local Travis Perkins or Jewsons who deliver without fuss.

Terrible, terrible service.

Beware when you order bulk bags. Beware when you order bulk bags! The only lorries they use for this are large curtain-sided lorries and are not able to drop the bags in your garden with a crane arm. My delivery was cancelled because the lorry was too big and didnt have a crane arm and was charged £100 to return them. The information on not having the Hi-Ab crane vehicle is only in the order confirmation email, which is both too late and can easily be missed

Absolutely terrible customer service. Was promised delivery on the 1st June, and still no sign over 2 weeks later. No correspondence back from Gravel Master and no refund either

Appalling customer service, sent wrong product and refuse to accept responsibility, completely ignoring irrefutable photographic evidence.

If THEY make a mistake, it will cost YOU money!

AVOID!
