Kanvas Transforms Aussie Giant's HQ

The commercial interior design specialist of Willmott Dixon Group, Kanvas, has helped Telstra International relocate to new London headquarters.

A division of Telstra Corporation Limited, Australia's leading and largest telecommunications and information-services company, Telstra International has merged three offices into one and relocated to new premises at the Blue Fin Building on 110 Southwark Street. It awarded Kanvas a contract to design and fit-out the office’s interior ready for occupation by Telstra staff.

As part of the design package, Kanvas also managed the process of relocating Telstra International’s Telepresence facility and 24 hour call monitoring station.

Managing Director of Kanvas Gerry Graville said: "With two of Telstra International's leases about to expire, this was an excellent opportunity to bring its London offices together under one roof.

"We were excited to be given the opportunity to work on the important fit out of the company's London base. Our main aim was to make sure that the relocation was seamless, without disruption to its daily business processes and that the new working space provided them with a vibrant and functional working environment, with good meeting areas and a bright modern feel that befits a brand that is a leader in its field."

Kanvas and Telstra International have worked on a number of previous projects including Platinum House in Cambridge, which saw the creation of a high specification data centre and office space for 100 people.
