GGR Group has been appointed as the official dealer and authorized sales and service centre in the UAE for vacuum lifter manufacturers Woods Powr-Grip.
The partnership will be officially launched at the Big 5 exhibition in Dubai, which runs from 22nd November to the 25th.
The appointment comes following the launch of GGR Gulf, a collaboration with Orientals General Trading, providing vacuum lifters, mini cranes, glazing robots and other glass handling products to the Gulf region.
A range of vacuum lifters will be on show at the Big 5 exhibition, including the best selling Wood Powr-Grip MRTA6, the first lifter with 'Quadra-Tilt', a unique four bar tilt mechanism that provides mechanical assistance to the operator. Also featuring moveable pads and extensions arms, the MRTA6 can accommodate a variety of load sizes and shapes.
GGR Gulf will also be exhibiting a selection of its best selling products on stand PMV D11 including a selection from GGR's range of mini cranes – the world's most compact mini crawler cranes. GGR will be displaying the URW-295, one of its most popular mini cranes, which is small enough to fit through a standard doorway, yet with a 2.9t lifting capacity.
GGR Group celebrated its tenth year as the UK's official Woods Powr-Grip dealership and service centre for the world-renowned vacuum lifter manufacturers earlier this year. GGR is accredited as the only authorized Woods Powr-Grip service centre in the UK. To date GGR has seen over 10,000 vacuum lifters pass through its vacuum lifter repair and service centres across the UK. GGR only use approved manufacturers' genuine parts in repairs and servicing of vacuum lifters.
GGR Gulf hires and sells glass vacuum lifters, Geko glazing robots, Glasboy floor cranes, Glasmax hoists and UNIC mini cranes to the Gulf region.
The GGR Group, consists of seven brands –UNIC Cranes Europe, GGR Glass, GGR Galizia, GGR AirLift, GGR Cladding, GGR Rail and now GGR Gulf. The GGR Group is currently Europe's leading supplier of vacuum handling equipment, restricted access lifting machinery and mini cranes for sale and hire, along with a variety of complementary products and services.
