E.ON has today announced that its new office building in the heart of Nottingham will be called, 'Trinity House'.
Trinity House will hold 'BREEAM' Excellent accreditation and an Energy Performance Certificate rating of 'A'. It has been designed to ensure that every part of the building helps the E.ON customer service teams who will be based there assist customers speedily and efficiently.
The greenest office building ever to have been built in the city, the new nine storey building will be at the heart of the company's daily efforts to help its customers and has been named by two E.ON employees: Evan Muckle and Kathy Moore.
Kathy Moore, Customer Service Specialist, at E.ON and one of the two employees who named the building said: "I put forward the idea to name the new office Trinity House to represent the past, the present and the future. I'm looking forward to moving to Trinity House as not only do I feel the building will reflect the hopes we have for the future, but will be a fresh start for everyone moving there. I also believe that providing a new building that we will be proud to work in will motivate and energise everyone in moving forward for a better future."
Commenting on the name chosen, David Bird, Customer Operations Director, E.ON UK said: "When you hear the reasons given by Kathy and Evan you realise just what a fantastic name Trinity House is for our new base in the city centre. I know that everyone who will make the move from Newlands House to the new building is looking forward to seeing the finished building later this summer. "
