Safety Award For Utility Service Provider

Morrison Utility Services (MUS) has received a Safety Performance Award from Northern Powergrid at the Annual Northern Powergrids Safety Conference.

The award is in recognition of Morrison Utility Services' Occupational Safety and Health Organisation (OSHA), as well as a Lost Time Accident free year in 2015.

Geoff Earl, Director of Safety, Health and Environment at Northern Powergrid, said: "Keeping our customers, employees and contractors safe is at the centre of how we operate every hour of every day.

"Our journey to continuously improve our safety performance requires the support of everyone who works for or with Northern Powergrid. Delivering the high safety standards we expect is key and the award recognises Morrison Utility Services’ contribution to our overall excellent safety performance. We look forward to more of the same for 2015."

Ged Shannon, Executive Director at MUS, said: "This award is a testament to the efforts of the MUS management and workforce employed across our Northern Powergrid contract and I would like to extend my thanks to each and every individual for their contribution."
