The government has released up-to-date details of planned roadworks for the week of Monday 22 to Sunday 28 June.
They include:
M1 junction 2 Holloway, Greater London: drainage work
Work to maintain safety by carrying out drainage maintenance will start this week. The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, from Monday 22 June for two nights. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A41 to join the M1 at junction 4.
M25 junction 3 Swanley, Kent: litter clearance
Work to improve journeys by carrying out litter clearance will start this week. The clockwise dedicated link road to the M20 eastbound will be closed overnight, between 11.30pm and 5am, on Monday 22 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the junction 3 roundabout.
M25 junction 4 Bromley – junction 5 Sevenoaks, Kent: carriageway resurfacing
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway resurfacing continues this week. The clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Thursday 25 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via A224, A25, A21 to rejoin the M25 at junction 5.
M25 junction 4 Bromley, Kent: carriageway resurfacing
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway resurfacing continues this week. The anti-clockwise carriageway between the slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday 22 June for three nights and on Friday 26 June. Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads.

M25 junctions 5 to 6 Clacket Lane Services, Kent: carriageway resurfacing
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway resurfacing continues this week. The clockwise entry and exit slip roads for the services will be closed overnight, between 11pm and 5.30am, on Friday 26 June. The next available services will be at Cobham Services (junctions 9 to 10).
M25 junction 6 Godstone, Surrey: carriageway sweeping
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway sweeping will start this week. The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 11pm and 5am, on Friday 26 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the entry slip road via the M25 anti-clockwise to junction 5, A21, A25 and return. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the exit slip road via junction 8.
M25 junctions 21a to 20, Hertfordshire: bridge joint replacement work
The anti-clockwise carriageway including the dedicated link road to the M1 northbound and junction 21a anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 9am, on Saturday 27 June. A clearly signed diversion for traffic wishing to use the M1 northbound will be in place via junction 21a, the A405 and A414. A clearly signed diversion for the anti-clockwise carriageway and junction 21a entry slip road will be in place via the A405 and A41.
M25 junction 23 South Mimms, Hertfordshire: carriageway sweeping
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway sweeping will start this week. The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Monday 22 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the entry slip road via M25 anti-clockwise to junction 22 and return. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the exit slip road via junction 24.
M25 junction 24 Potters Bar, Hertfordshire: carriageway sweeping
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway sweeping will start this week. The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Tuesday 23 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the entry slip road via M25 anti-clockwise to junction 23 and return. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the exit slip road via junction 25.
M25 junction 25 (A10), Hertfordshire: carriageway sweeping
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway sweeping will start this week. The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Thursday 25 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 26.

M25 junction 28 Brentwood, Essex: carriageway resurfacing/junction improvements
Work to improve journeys by resurfacing the A12 continues this week. The clockwise dedicated link road to the A12 eastbound (for Brentwood) will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, from Monday 22 June for five nights. Work on Friday night will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be available via the junction 28 roundabout.

Work to improve journeys as part of the Dart Charge scheme will continue this week. The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Friday 26 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 30.
A2 Bexleyheath, Kent: litter clearance
Work to improve journeys by carrying out litter clearance will start this week. The eastbound exit slip road to the M25 junction 2 will be closed overnight, between 11pm and 5am, on Friday 26 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the Darenth and Bean interchange and return.
A13/M25 junction 30 Thurrock, Essex: major improvement
Work to reduce congestion and improve safety continues this week as part of a major scheme to widen the A13 and the M25 junction 30 roundabout and slip roads. Narrow lanes and a 40mph speed limit are in place with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. There will be additional overnight lane and slip road closures as required. The westbound carriageway between North Stifford and Wennington – including the entry slip roads from the A126 and the M25 junction 30 – will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday 22 June for two nights and from Thursday 25 June for two nights. Work on Friday night will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A1012, West Thurrock Arterial Road and the A1306.
The eastbound carriageway between Wennington and North Stifford – including the entry slip road from the M25 junction 30 – will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Wednesday 24 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A1306, West Thurrock Arterial Road and A1012.
A21 Sevenoaks, Kent: carriageway sweeping
Work to improve journeys by carrying out carriageway sweeping will start this week. The northbound link road to the M25 clockwise will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Monday 22 June. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M25 junction 4.
