Lovell has expanded its senior team by making two new appointments
John Leary has been appointed to the the newly-created role of Major Projects Director, while Richard Vining will join the Board as Operations Director.
Mr Leary, who was formerly national operations director, will lead the company team working on the £200 million Salisbury Plain scheme. The project aims to create 900 homes at the site for soldiers returning from overseas.
Elsewhere, Mr Vining will bring his experience gained over a 34-year career to the company board.
He joins Lovell from Metropolitan Housing Trust where he was group executive director of development. In addition, he previously worked in chief executive officer roles at Shepherd Construction and Lorne Stewart, as well as being a Director at Lendlease.
Speaking on Mr Leary's appointment, Lovell Managing Director, Jonathan Goring, said: "John's formidable sector expertise and outstanding record of delivery makes him uniquely qualified to fulfil this demanding leadership role.
"He draws on extensive proven experience of working successfully in partnership with the DIO and MOD to create high-quality, modern homes and community infrastructure for service personnel and their families at pace, and to exacting build and design standards."
And on Mr Vining's appointment, Mr Goring added: "I am extremely pleased to have secured someone of Richard's high calibre to join our Board as we continue to capitalise on the significant opportunities for the business now presenting themselves across the UK.
"His range of skills and wealth of construction and housing achievements – including extensive experience in developing off-site construction solutions and in the formation of market-leading partnerships with major public sector clients – make him a fantastic addition to our senior team."
