With more than 28 years of experience in infrastructure, construction, development, property and investment across elements of the real estate lifecycle, Mr Moriarty will take over Murphy's property portfolio.
Previously, he worked for Lendlease, Laing O'Rourke, MPGA and Lands Improvement. He has also worked on a number of major projects including the London 2012 Olympics, Bluewater Shopping Centre and a 600-acre development in Houghton Regis.

Having joined the company at the end of May, Mr Moriarty will work on group investment strategy to deliver Murphy's 10-year plan, which includes property, infrastructure assets, technology, PFI, acquisitions and capital expenditure.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr Moriarty said: "I am delighted to join the Murphy team – it has an exciting vision to achieve sustainable profits and turnover by providing world-class infrastructure.
