ISG has strengthened its specialist science and health division with two new key appointments.
Andrew Wilson and Chris Chappell are set to join the business as divisional directors on the back of ISG's record-breaking financial year and unprecedented demand across its science and health business.
Bringing with him a vast array of experience in delivering large-scale, complex research and healthcare projects, Andrew is leading the major projects team responsible for delivering large-scale projects; ranging from £50m - £200m.
Andrew said: "With our recent appointment on the UCL ION and DRI project and Imperial College London's £90m Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub due for completion later this year, ISG has gained an enviable reputation for building high quality, highly-engineered projects that support industry-leading research and ground-breaking scientific discoveries.
"I'm delighted to be joining the team and will continue to bring passion and dedication to the construction of unique large-scale, engineering-led projects."
Chris Chappell also joins the science and health team as the new cluster lead for the Cambridge regional business.
Chris will focus on strengthening ISG's profile in the Cambridge region, building on the company's reputation for delivering the best technology, research and healthcare environments. He will also lead work to grow ISG's market share in other local sectors.
Lee Hutchinson, ISG's managing director for the science and health division, added: "We have built a strong reputation in the science, health and research sector in the UK and have delivered truly outstanding buildings for some of the country's top institutions.
"Both Andrew and Chris are fantastic additions to the team, and they join at a time when quality tech and engineering-led construction teams are in such demand. Their professionalism and innovation will help take our UK business to the next level."
