Events over the last couple of years have caused havoc in the construction industry resulting in considerable shortages of material supplies and inevitable price rises, which we have never seen before in this industry, causing the cost of all building types to reach unprecedented heights.
Here at Urban Marque Ltd we have always done our best to meet our client's budgets and one way we have achieved this recently is to design and develop our affordable 'Bare Bones' Lodge Home System.
We are already very well known for installing our high-end quality lodge homes that meet all the demands of the 'Caravan Acts' that police and control the mobile home industry and can even meet the requirements of the UK Building Regulations, by design.
Now we have gone one better and introduced our 'Bare Bones' system that is designed to give self-builders an affordable quality lodge home kit that is easy to install. We design manufacture and deliver an engineered house kit to your exact requirements delivered to your site.
This is a self-erecting kit that can also incorporate our Urban Plinth System, designed to support your exact design on your chosen site, so you have very little foundation ground works to worry about. Most of the components are manufactured to size in the factory so all you need to do is assemble the kit.
To simplify the installation for you, we not only supply the site drawings, but we also provide a step-by-step erecting manual as well. To avoid any problems, we have a telephone help line and always respond to your queries on the same day if you should get stuck at any point.
Engineered to avoid specialist tools being required to complete your 'Bare Bones' installation, it couldn't be much easier although most clients like to arm themselves with a nail gun to speed the task up!
Urban Marque Ltd can even arrange a Lawful Development Certificate for you (if required) and we have several 'help' leaflets to assist you in relevant scope of works for your new home. The quantities you need for finishing materials such as cladding, insulation and plasterboard are worked out for you and we will gladly supply any materials to your site as a supply only option, with the added bonus of a zero VAT rate if ordered with the 'Bare Bones' order.
Our system is perfect for those who have a sufficiently sized garden for parents downsizing or children who can't get on the property ladder – or even for friends, family or guests to stay in if more accommodation is required, without the need to extend your existing home.
Don't forget we can also offer a tailored scope of works to help you achieve your dream including planning assistance
Urban Marque Ltd have several routes to build ranging from a Bare Bones supply only through to a fully installed option and anything in between, with a priced set scope of works decided by you. Your deposit is protected along with an insurance backed 5 year structural guarantee.
We guarantee to supply your kit on budget and on time.
