Euroclad continues to lead the metal cladding industry with further product innovation in its spacer bar systems and the launch of Eurobar Extra Mast, the first adjustable spacer system which allows for greater insulating flexibility.
Fundamental to any built-up metal roofing or cladding system is the spacer system used to separate the outer weathering skin from the internal liner sheet. Traditional spacer systems don’t allow for flexibility of the distance between outer and inner sheet and therefore do not allow for increases in the amount of insulation used.
Eurobar Extra Mast can accommodate depths of between 135mm and 280mm, is inherently strong and due to its unique design is more efficient than static spacing systems, with fewer brackets needed, fewer thermal breaks and subsequently less material. Revisions to part L of the Building Regulations have had an impact on the metal construction industry and Eurobar Extra Mast allows greater design flexibility in metal clad buildings to enable designers to achieve greater U-Values.
John Dunnington, Marketing Executive at Euroclad said: "We are proud to introduce Eurobar Extra Mast to the UK market. The system offers easy installation and is part of a new generation of systems created in the 21st century for the 21st century. Evolving Building Regulations in the UK demand an improved performance in the building envelope and Euroclad will continue to lead the way for development in the metal building construction."
