The North West Regional Construction Awards 2008 are to take place on Thursday 15 May at the stunning new Arena Centre, Liverpool. The Awards will celebrate the construction industry in the region and showcase the best and most innovative construction projects and working practices in the North West of England.
Client and constructors, alike, are invited to submit projects and processes that demonstrate some or all of the innovations advocated by the 'Rethinking Construction' Agenda, the Regional Economic Strategy and Constructing Excellence to CCI for inclusion in the Awards process.
The North West Construction Awards are an ideal opportunity to showcase the wide range of excellent development and construction projects that are currently being undertaken in the region.
Awards to be given out include the NW Business Award and NW Infrastructure Award, as well as five 'Constructing Excellence Best Practice Club' Awards given out to the sub-regional Projects of the Year. These will be judged by the regional Best Practice Club Network, including the Clubs in Merseyside, Cheshire, Warrington & Wirral, Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria.
2007 Award winners included PLP Construction Ltd for NW Contractor of the Year and Beetham Tower, Manchester for NW Project of the Year.
