Swish Building Products, specialists in PVC roofline and cladding systems, has been selected by national new build developer Barratt Homes for a large building project in Swansea, South Wales.
The five-year scheme, which began in 2006, involves supplying coloured grey fascias for 550 new ipad apartments at the prestigious riverside development in Swansea.
Barratt Homes chose Swish fascias as they were able to match the grey windows in the development perfectly. The speed of supply, especially when compared to lead times associated with aluminium products, also helped to secure the contract win.
Greg Wilde, Marketing Manager at Swish Building Products, said: "This is the first national new build project that we have supplied with new grey fascia.
"With this type of project, developers are looking for suppliers that can provide cost-effective, durable products that have a low-maintenance requirement, as this is a huge bonus to house buyers. Our new grey fascias are a perfect match as they will look good and be simple to maintain."
This new Copper Quarter development by Britain's premier house builder is the first time that the new ipad apartments, which have been designed exclusively for the first time buyer, will be available anywhere in Wales. All homes have parking courts, landscaped areas for residents and river walks and are just minutes from Swansea’s bustling city centre.
